Our First: Teams Second

Soccer games have officially started for the Kello family!! There is no more sleeping on Saturday mornings!! Since the first game of the season was while we were in St. Louis this was our first game but the teams second!! I have to say that Zoey enjoyed being out on the field and was busing watching everything!! All the kids looked so cute and did a GREAT job!!

Zoey and Elizabeth-- watching someone

Daddy telling Zoey how well she is doing

Lydia was a great sport do to the windy, chilly morning!!

Natalie's game was right after Zoey's and what a difference a year makes in soccer!! The 4's just run around the field and have fun and the 6's actually seem to have some sort of clue whats going on!! Natalie was super excited and knew that if she scored a goal she got to pick where we went for lunch!! So that was top on her list and she accomplished it!! She was doing great at defending as well as offense!! She played her little heart out and she was rewarded with MVP at the end of the game!! She was SO EXCITED-- she even took her patch into school on Monday to show her teacher!!

Natalie warming up before her game!!

We definitely had a GREAT time at the soccer fields and are so proud of our little girls!!

A Quick Weekend Trip to St. Louis

After a couple weeks of "secret" planning we were off to St. Louis with "Onnie" for her BIG birthday!!! I think it was more of a trip for us from my dad but it was much appreciated and SO much fun!!! I took over 300 pictures while we were gone and as you can see I will not bore you with all of them!! We left Indy on Friday evening and after a short ride the girls were, of course, starving so McDonald's it was!! We were out for a quick bit to eat, bathroom breaks, pj's on, and on the road we were again in hopes to not stop till we got there!! From then on it was a quite ride and we arrived in St.Louis in just a few short hours!! The girls were right to sleep when we snuggled in bed since we had a big day planned for Saturday! Saturday came and we were up bright and early!! Showers, baths, and breakfast and off to the City Museum we went!! I have to say that my pictures will not even do justice for the city museum! This place was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! It was a little pricey to get into but was worth ever single penny of it and we didn't even have time to do the "extra" stuff! Going back with Daddy is on the to-do list in the near future.

Zoey going down the really fast slide

There goes Natalie (she is not scared to do anything!!)

Our bucket tower before Natalie got on the rope, swung into it, and knocked it down.
Onnie and Zoey (her best friend)

Natalie and Zoey in the ball pit in Toddler Town

One of many things there was to climb up and yes I went up many of them
Look at this!!!! This was a slide and I usually don't get worried or nervous about the girls doing things but this was one thing that made me a little nervous

A skate board ramp made into a slide

Natalie waiting for Zoey

Do you remember him?????

The outside ball pit!!

There is no way to describe the outside part of the City Museum--It was a huge climbing thing with slides and ball pits and even an airplane at the top!

Ava was a little scared but she wouldn't let me help her at all

This was SO GROSS!!! It was a pig born in 1956!!

After a day full of the City Museum, swimming at the hotel, going to Target and hear this WITH A PARKING GARAGE, and dinner downtown it was back to the hotel and BED TIME so we could get up and head to the Zoo and then hit the road!!

I love to see Different animals then what is at out Zoo!!!

He had a sore on his hand that he kept picking at-- just like we would do--AMAZING

We couldn't leave without riding the carousel

They do LOVE each other--most of the time!

Natalie remembered this boat from when we went last year and she had to have her picture taken again in it!

The elephants were playing in the water-- I just think this is so cool! I think I took about 30 pictures of them!! I was the annoying person that wouldn't move out of the way so other people could see!

Our last picture as we headed out to hit the road-- the girls were exhausted and super tired!!

And we weren't on the road 5 minutes and she was OUT!!

and so was she--- they had SO MUCH FUN!!!!

She was just happy to not be held anymore!!!

We had a GREAT weekend and the girls we so well behaved!! I cant wait to go back-- I think that St. Louis has become one of my favorite "quick" trips! We will be going back soon to show daddy the City Museum!!

Thanks mom for going with us and I hope that you had a BLAST!!! Just remember that Cape May isnt far away-- and thats a whole week with 4 little girls!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!

Making a Book

I was talking to my friend Jenni yesterday about labeling the wrong name on a pic in a blog post when our conversation turned into the use of a blog or better yet the uselessness of a blog!! I was telling her how I feel that I write about stuff that people probably really don't care about but I just like doing it for my girls and our family!! I then said I wish I knew how I could save this for them and they could have it when they got older since I'm not good at keeping up with baby books and figuring out what to do with the millions of pictures that I take!! She told me that you can have your blog turned into a book!! How AWESOME is that?? and for those of you that already know this I'm sorry that I'm rambling on and on!! But now that I know this I'm going to update a lot and probably a lot about things people could careless to read but wont my girls LOVE having a book of their life when they were little!!!!

Thanks Jenni for your wealth of information!!!! Your GREAT!!!!!

Cute Lidi Lu Faces

Here are some pics of my "sunshine." I was enjoying her face WAY TOO MUCH!!!!!

It was a long Easter Sunday but well worth it!!!

Easter Sunday always starts so early for us since we try to make it to 10:15 Mass. We started our day with baths and the girls putting on their new pretty dresses ( I never got a pic of all them together the day was so busy)!! We couldn't come downstairs until everyone was ready! So we all got ready, beds were made, upstairs was clean so down we went!! and our busy day had officially started.......

John and I had been discussing getting a dog to add to our family but the last dog we had was a bad experience and I wasn't sure if I was ready to get another one-- I mean isn't 4 kids enough?? but after hunting for awhile on Craigslist we found BO BO-- a 2 year old English Cocker Spaniel and he is ADORABLE and POTTY TRAINED!! So we made a quick call to the Easter Bunny and Bo is now part of the Kello family!! and the girls were very very excited to meet Bo!

I just think he is so cute-- and what is better than 3 kids in your bed a 5 in the morning but a DOG!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHH.... life is great :-)

The girls waiting anxiously for their Easter Baskets

She couldn't believe he brought a Snow Cone Machine

And neither could Natalie-- they wanted one SOOOO Bad

That Easter Bunny threw about 60 eggs in our front yard on his way out the door!!

They weren't hard to find but there sure were a lot of them

Ava finding Eggs!!

This was about a 15 minute nap and she was ready to go again!!

Off to Nana's we went for some fishing in the pond and a GREAT lunch
Laura took over helping Zoey fish because her and I couldn't catch anything (fishing is not my thing that's for sure)

Look what they caught!!!!

I kept trying to get Natalie to touch the fish bu she wasn't having it ( I don't blame her)

but she did pick up the worm--- YUCKKKKKKKKK and in her pretty dress

John fishing

With an eventful day at Nana's the fun wasn't sure to end there-- we couldn't get ready for bed without making Snow Cones--
And if you look closely we have a manual snow cone maker because the Easter Bunnies Helper (John) thought the girls would like being able to do it---- umm yea right!!! So John is now the OFFICIAL SNOW CONE MAKER!!!

Girls enjoying their snow cones!

Zoey-- of course with a Blue Straw and a Blue Snow Cone! She wouldn't have it any other way! (Her finger nails show how much fun she had today-- gross:)

Ava was sooo disgustingly dirty that I didn't even want to take her picture but her she is enjoying every bite of her snow cone!

Natalie waited patiently to get hers after everyone else

We had a GREAT Easter with the girls and oh yes we cant forget Bo Bo and the weather was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!
